Lost/Stolen Situations

If your personal or account information, checkbook, ATM/Debit card or credit cards are lost or stolen, please follow the procedure listed below:
- Call our Identity Theft Resolution Center immediately at 1-877-432-7463.
- Call your financial institutions and credit card companies to freeze or flag your accounts.
- Call the police and file a report.
- Call one of the three national credit reporting agencies to place a fraud alert.
- Call the Social Security Administration to verify your Social Security Number and your name match and verify that no other person is using the same number.
- Call the U.S. Postal Service to verify if there has been any change of address requested in your name.
- Call TeleCheck to place a fraud alert.
- Call the Federal Trade Commission ID Theft Hotline to obtain additional information or visit the FTC’s website to file a complaint.
- If your Debit or ATM cards have been compromised and transactions have cleared your account, please submit a Cardholder Dispute Form (ATM & Debit Card) and a Fraud Form.
- If fraudulent transactions have been charged to your Visa Credit Card, contact Visa immediately.
REMEMBER TO REVIEW YOUR CREDIT REPORT AT LEAST ONCE A YEAR!

When your Checkbook is lost/stolen:
- Determine the check numbers and dollar amounts for checks you wrote, but have not yet cleared your account.
- Determine the range of check numbers missing.
- Verify the check numbers that cleared your account before the lost/stolen situation
- If fraudulent checks cleared your account, submit a Fraud Form
- Contact a B.O.N.D. Officer to perform the security procedures.
