Youth Share/Savings
Membership Pre-Qualification Application
Free Youth Share/Savings Accounts are available for members under 18 years of age. The account requires a $25.00 minimum balance. This account has unlimited withdrawals over the counter. It is designed to teach children/youth about saving money. There is no service fee for this account, and it provides overdraft protection for Share Draft/Checking Accounts.
If your child is less than 1 year old, B.O.N.D. Community FCU will give you the first $25.00 to open the account!
The credit union provides a lay-away plan in order to allow your child, under the age of 18 years old, to become a member. With the lay-away plan, potential children/youth members can deposit $5.00 a month for five months until the $25.00 required for youth membership are on deposit.

Share/Savings Accounts are insured up to $100,000 and IRA Accounts are insured up to $250,000 by the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund (NCUSIF), administered by the National Credit Union Administration, a U.S. Government Agency.
